Date and Place
- The Exhibition will take place on the same dates as the “XIII Latin-American Geological Congress and XIV Peruvian Geological Congress”, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Lima, Perú, from September 29 through October 3, 200
- It will comprise 61 booths distributed as follows:
- 34 Booths type A
- 27 Booths type B
ABOUT EXHIBITORS
Contract
- The participation agreement will be supported by a contract entered into by and between the EXHIBITOR and the ORGANIZER, which binds the EXHIBITOR to comply with the provisions set forth in these Regulations.
Representative
- The EXHIBITOR shall designate the person in charge of coordinating with the ORGANIZER aspects such as integral design, installation, mounting, dismantling and removal of the exhibition material from the contracted space, as well as the attention therein.

ABOUT THE BOOTHS
Characteristics and Size
- All booths are 2.35 m high and 3.00 x 2.00 m and 2.93 x 1.95 m exterior and inner measurements, respectively.
- Booth walls are made of white color melamine.
- All booths have wall-to-wall carpeting.
Exhibitor’s Identification
- The ORGANIZER will place the name of the company on the front of the booth in a uniform manner.
Furniture and Fixtures
- Electrical facilities include two brackets with 60-W lamps each and a 3-outlet plug in each booth.
- Booths are equipped with a table and two chairs.
Decoration
- The EXHIBITOR shall bear the cost of decorating the booth. Decorative elements cannot exceed the height of the walls or the specific booth interior measurements.
- The EXHIBITOR cannot hammer in nails but is entitled to stick and/or hang its company’s decorative elements on the inner walls of the booth(s).
Special Requirements
- The EXHIBITOR can request the Exhibition Coordinator, information on suppliers of additional services/material such as, Customs agents, furniture, audiovisual equipment, plants, etc. Any payment must be made directly by the EXHIBITOR to the suppliers authorized by and registered with the ORGANIZER.

Conditions and Payment Terms
- Booths will be assigned in strict order of reservation and payment. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the Exhibition Contract with proof of the corresponding payment attached thereto.
- Payments may be made as follows:
In Peru:
- By check in US Dollars payable to: Sociedad Geológica del Perú
- By bank deposit to Sociedad Geológica del Perú US$ current account No. 193-1617598-1-82 of Banco de Crédito del Perú .
Deposit slip must be attached to the Exhibition Contract.
Abroad:
- By bank transfer to Sociedad Geológica del Perú

ABOUT THE INSTALLATION
Exhibitor’s Schedule

- Confirm data included in the Exhibition Contract, which will appear in the Exhibition Catalogue.
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28
- Installation and decoration works start at 9:00 a.m.
Monday 29
Tuesday 30
- Exhibition Hours 09:00 to 20:00 hours
OCTOBER
Wednesday 1st – Friday 3
- Exhibition Hours 09:00 to 20:00 hours
Saturday 4
- Dismantling and removal of exhibition materials.
Material Admission
- The EXHIBITOR’s material will be admitted into the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú premises provided it comes with an original and one copy of the waybill.
- The copy must be handed over to the Security person in charge, at the entrance to the University.
Suppliers
- Only suppliers duly registered in advance and authorized by the ORGANIZER shall be admitted.
Security
- The ORGANIZER will hire at its expense a 24-hour security service during the days scheduled for the mounting, exhibition and dismantling of the EXHIBITOR’s material.
- The EXHIBITOR is free to contract any insurance policy it deems convenient.
- For safety reasons, the use of any article that may endanger the development of the exhibition, such as fireworks, hazmat, explosives, etc. is strictly forbidden.
Temporary Importation
- The EXHIBITOR is entitled to retain a Customs Agent or one recommended by the ORGANIZER, if materials or samples will be brought from abroad.
